Our family-owned winery reaches back for many generations. And exactly as our ancestors did for many years before us, we put our hearts and souls into winemaking.
Wine since 1788
Wine has been flowing through the veins of our family for generations. More precisely, the origins of viticulture can be traced back to 1788. The initially small but growing business flourished until the outbreak of the Second World War. A short time later, the great-great-grandchildren Rosemarie and Otto decided to continue the family tradition.

Our vision
Our winery has attracted increasing attention in recent years. The generational change which has taken place just some years ago has certainly contributed to this – since father Otmar received active reinforcement from his sons Peter and Jürgen, the winery has collected many important awards. The highlight so far: 1st place in the international “Best of Riesling” competition, in which over 2,000 wines from all over the world were tasted. This means a lot for us and motivates us to go further.

Sustainable innovations
But there is another topic that is particularly important to us. Because as a winery we always make sure to keep the impact on our environment as low as possible. That´s why many years ago we started a close cooperation with the famous Swiss grape geneticist Valentin Blattner. As a result, we were one oft the first three wineries world-wide to grow naturally sustainable wine plants. This new wine was christened Cabernet Blanc and has now started its success tour across the globe.
